Awesome...and it'll feel like a warm summer day within the wired labyrinth of my new heated vest!

Did you get my baby put back together?

The KTM blew a water pump seal and now has water in the oil...

Nope. The weather weenies were wrong again...they said the rain would end Sat night. We'll have to try again before it starts to snow!

This coming weekend looks nice. So it will probably snow...but if it doesn't I'm down for a ride.
Today turned out to be beautiful even though the weather said "drizzle" all day. The brilliant sunshine and cloudless sky dried the roads up quickly.

I may need new tires if we are going to ride in the snow.

    Recently arrived...

So, I recently (as in last weekend, 2 days ago) arrived in Fredericksburg Virginia from the Grand Rapids Michigan area. I moved to take a new job, my family will be joining me later.

I know no one in the area (well, my daughter is at Quantico at the moment, but will be leaving in a month and a half or so), and don't have any idea what the riding scene is like; if you're local and wanna help a FNG out, PM me.

Actually, while I'm at it, I lost the right mirror on the trip down (I suck at securing bikes inside UHauls), who's the "good" Honda stealership in town?

Hey echo, im not too far from you. if its dry out ill be riding tomorrow.

closest dealer to you would be FMS. Hotbrakes could take you on a tour of it, its basically his second home, at least he wishes it is.

Thanks for the heads up on the stealership.

I've got a lot going on tomorrow during the day, but should be done by 3 or 4 in the afternoon, if your interested in meeting up somewhere easy to find; and it's nice tomorrow...

I did go for an hour ride or so today, was great.

welcome echo....i live in chesterfield but my whole family lives in fredericksburg. i grew up there. they live right off I-95 exit 130a. (coming from south). they live behind the burlington there. i go up there often to visit. we should take a ride sometime. its much harder for me to get out and ride cause i usually work till 8-4pm or 10-6pm. and have two small kids. but it would be sweet

Ok, this weekend I think the weather REALLY will be nice. I'll probably ride both days, maybe an overnighter in the mountains. (We do ride VFR's after all, lots of luggage space). Or maybe a local Fred'burg ride Saturday and "the usual" ride out of Richmond on Sunday.

ECHO- Welcome aboard! At least welcome to the VA riders nook. You're just in time for the prime VFR riding season. Former Marine myself, looks like you have a whole family of them.

Saw a red VFR looks like yours pulling out this AM. At Beauregard st. Across from the shopping center.

I actually just moved the pin to F-burg in general, cause I'm only in this apartment for a couple months, while we get things settled and find a place to move the family down to.

Thanks, yeah really proud of both my kids.

Looks like I'm gonna do some riding this weekend; going to FMS tomorrow to check on the mirror and maybe some riding Saturday around the area thanks to Ciscokid.

Thanks for the welcome to the area.
