Vibration when decellering hard

    I just bought a 99 with only 7900 miles on it, and i notice today that slowing down from 70+ the bike will vibrate the front end. It only does this when you brake hard. I checked the steering and it looks and sound fine. I spun the front tires and it doesn't seem to have any problems.

    I can't believe it's a wrap rotor, since it only does it a really hard braking. Normal braking is ok.

    Can anyone tell me what else i should look for.

    With you having already checked the front end the only things I could come up with is, 1 your rear brake is locking up a little ( when I switched to better pads than stock I had to learn to be a little easyer on the rear brake), however this is difficuld due to the linked brakes. Or 2 and probably the reason is warped rotors. Slight warpage may not be detected at slower speeds but a higher speed with the rotor spinning at a faster rate you have to pull harder on the lever to slow down thus you will be able to notice it. Ever had a car that didnt vibrate around the city but did when you get off the highway? I would check the rotors for any exessive runout.
