vfr fork stanchion query.

hello all.

on ebay at the moment there is a set of fork stanchions for a vfr 750f us version. Equivalent to 51410-ML7-003 and 51410-ML7-691 part numbers.

my question is will these fit a '88 vfr 750 fj non-us version?

if not anybody know where i can get some replacement fork stanchions that are cheap other than ebay?

If your fork tubes are 41mm then these will work. I also have an extra set but they are in USA.

 

just had an email from the seller. apparently they don't fit. from looking at the pics they don't seem too different. gonna get some dimensions just to be sure.

You can have your tubes replated in the UK, or buy new tubes from USA, with the exchange rate, it's about 1/2 price right now. Or you can try Forking by Franks. Google them. I don't know if they will sell internationally though

 

All bike engineering in greenwich in the uk are the answer to your problem, they can give you pattern replacements or replate your originals
