Starting this resto on my 86 700. So first off I want to get it running well before tearing it down. I got the bike with the carbs off and torn down, some people should not have tools. I them all sorted out and but the float bowl gaskets are gone along with a couple of o-rings.

Are the float bowls the same for the VF1000 as the VFR? Cause I found a cheap set on line otherwise I have to buy the rebuild kit and they are $35 each. ouch!!

    Any help would be great.

    Thanks

+1 for TOE. If I was in a betting mood, I'd speculate, and feel good about my odds, that the gaskets are different. TOE will know the way.
