VFR ABS ... what years?

Hi folks!

I'm looking into buying a VFR, but want one with ABS for sure. Anyone want to trade for a Buell XB12 :biggrin:

JUST KIDDING.

What years had ABS as an option? This info would really make my search much easier. Thanks everyone!

I believe that the option started being available in 2002 with the introduction of the 6th gen model. I believe but I have been wrong before!

Jethro is right. ABS was offered beginning with the first 6th Gen (2002+)

There was a 5th gen ABS model made for Japan police VFR800P.

I wouldn't fixate on getting one though, stick with the 6th gen if you want ABS. :biggrin:
