Hi My bike just stopped on the road when I checked the battery it showed 11.3 volts this was after I had charged it the week before, to 13.8 volts, I jumped started it when I got home when bike was cold and it started first time I then put a volt meter across the battery terminals and it showed 12.9 volt on tick over, I revved it slightly and volt meter increased up to 13.3 volts, anyone have a clue whether Battery, Alternator, or Regulator, one last thing I have had the bike two years now, and I can't find a receipt for a new battery so it might be a few years old now, Thanks to any one that replies Steve
It could very well be the battery. I'd suggest fully charging the battery, and then bringing it to a shop that can load test it to see if its still good. You can also look at this link.
