seems like all the seat cowls i've seen where painted for the 84's or 85's have'nt find any already paint to match the 86's. I spent 139 to buy mine and 200 to have it painted looks awesome to me!

Right, that one matched the colors of my '84 bike and cowl even though it was advertised as an 85 - 86.

I saw that one too and wondered about the color scheme myself. Though I already have one, I was thinking I might try and get another. I got out around $125. My 85 has one, but it's all white. I don't think the PO would have painted it, so I'm thinkin' mine came all white from Honda.

I tried winning that with everything I got it was at $23 with 3 minutes to go then bam! I got in a bidding war with a few people and lost it in the last few seconds by 3 dollars to someone I assumed was subscribing to this thread.

The seat cowls were never officially made for the 86 (in the U.S. at least). It was 84 -85 only. The 86 grab handle is quite a bit taller and does not have the threaded hole for the lock mechanism.

Must have been added then because Cap is right about the 86 grab handle not having the threaded hole.
