Hello, I have just become an owner of a long 23 years of wanting the VF1000R. I had little brother Intercepter back in 85 which I upgraded the suspension and engine right after I bought it new. Even install on Lockhart lowers which greatly improve the looks. It was a little hot rod by the time I was done. I didn't know the VF1000R existed at the time. Had I did I would of gotten it instead. But I'd never regreted buying the Intercepter. And here I am today with one. It does not have the original color scheme. But I’m not one to complaint. I actually like the solid color and is more of my style. Right now it needs carb adjustment and I’m getting a little rattle noise when pulling in the clutch which I hoping it is the clutch cover bearing that is going out. It’s not constraint and doesn’t seem to affect the shifting. Actually the bike runs great. I just want to get it running right to ride and have fun before I do a tear down. Unfortunately, I have another bike project going on and 1000R will have to wait. Nice to meet ya'ull. Well here are a few pics.

Congrats and welcome! It is always fun to get something you have wanted for a long time, especially when it's a motorcycle.
