I have had this bike for 1 year now. It was a re-introduction to street bikes after a 13 year hiatus. I am becoming more comfortable with it's prodigious torque and power. She's a heavy bike, but the pounds melt away when you get moving. She handles 2 up riding perfectly, and is a very capable corner carver when riding solo. I am very happy I bought this bike...
You've got to love the older bikes. They still have their place. I'm glad yours is working for you. It looks like you've got the '85. What are the details? Condition, modifications, miles, history, etc.
51,000 kms. She's a victim of a bad paint job, that will be dealt with this winter. (My tank bag covers the worst of it) Probably a new clutch and sprockets/chain on the list of winter to do items (still functional, but at the end of their lives) Spiegler SS brake lines front and rear and a home made luggage rack are the only mods so far. When I first bought it, I cleaned the carbs, set the valves and synched the carbs. Fork seals have been done and replaced the thermostat and coolant. There are older posts in the gear section with pics of the rack I built
