Hello everyone. I am not totally Noob to the forums, I have been posting in the 1st gen forum to gain info for getting my new-to-me '85 VF500F Interceptor up and running. This site is great, the guys on the 1st gen forum have helped immensely with tech info on my bike. I got it on the road last week, put some slow miles on it, the old tires were kinda sketchy. Had some new tires mounted last weekend, got in about 500 miles before the weather went to crap. Anyhow, many thanks to the guys who helped.

    one purty ride. congrats.

I have those same F1 cans on my 86. I am a newbie here, but I will see how they work on this ride eventually.

I was kinda bummed because the PO did not have the OEM mufflers, but as it turns out, The F1s are not loud at all, not whisper quiet, but a pleasing exhaust note.
