    Hi Guys, Girls.

I am wondering if its possible to go up a bit in tyre size, the Manuel, says 140 / 80 17 69v, now choices are a little thin,

would it be possible to go up to say 150 or 160 / 70 0r 60, without fouling the swing arm or anything else in the rear

I really need to replace it, the DOT date is 06 2007, dont like the idea of a 13 year old tyre........................

Measure what clearance you have..... tire size widths are in mm, so 150 is 5mm wider on each side. I've never had a problem going up one size in width.
Profiles of 70 or 60 are aspect ratio, so will be a smaller diameter than an 80 of the same width.
