TWM Gas Caps

Hi does anyone have any experience with these aftermarket TWM gas caps being sold on Ebay, https://www.ebay.com/itm/354950540346 ?
They have them in different colors etc. It says they fit 86-93 but I'm not sure about that.

 

They do not (bolt on) fit 86 - 89 VFR. The caps look the same, but the bolt spacing is slightly different.

That being said, Rogue modified one (Tyga) to fit Big Red.

I have fitted Vortex caps for some certain Kawasaki 1990s sport bikes that oddly do share the same pattern, but it also was not technically a bolt on. I had to make a custom Viton rubber gasket as the tank holes are slightly different diameters and offset a bit from each other. Other than that it bolted right up and works perfect.

If you're looking for one to fit the 86 - 89 VFR, you won't find one. Nobody makes them, regardless of what anybody's listing says. That's what I was trying to convey.

EDIT!: Took me a ab0ut 2 minutes before I remembered you had been looking for stock caps and and that's what you meant.

FYI... CA caps can be modified to work with 49 state tanks. That might expand your search.
