Just ordered Staintunes for my 03' !!! Between the 10% discount and free shipping special limited offer ... my total came to only $699.00 !

PLEASE tell me this is at least a OK, if not great, price on them. The other couple of times I've seen them in stock, they were $749.00 plus $15 to $25 shipping.

Can't wait!!!! Now ... just need to shop around for labor costs to have a Honda Dealer install them.

Good price. They are so easy to install I would do it myself. On my '98 (okay, one pipe is easier), total time to install, including removal of the old system, was 8 minutes and their stuff always fits. Just be careful not to drop the old heavy stock system on your foot!

there's a great link around here somewhere that indicates the install is about 20 minutes and super easy. i would save yourself some money and do it at home. and that is a really good price, too.

Yeah - I just finished the install last night. It wasn't all that difficult really. Lining up all the bolt areas was the tough part. Otherwise, it was a breeze. And, boy, does it sound a LOT better!

    Hey Waldrm,
I see you have a stune high mount. I got mine for my 99 today but the bike is in getting a 16K service. What can you tell me about the extra hardware for the attach point they have under the side panel. Is this pretty straight forward? I can't think of what this would attach to.

The rear mount uses the passenger handrail bolt points as an attachment; pipe comes with (4) SS Allen head bolts and a spacer for the left side to level the grab handles.  Bracket should drop down just inside the rear cowl with no cutting required.  Mine has an undertray fitted so I had to notch that to fit the bracket but there is no interference with the stock inner fender.  Be careful installing the bolt in the rear mount; sharp stainless steel threads on the bolt going into a stainless steel tapped hole is trouble unless you lube the bolt well with Neolube or N-5000 Nickel Never-Sieze.  There is no gasket where the Staintune slips into the factory pipe; be sure to clean the pipe with Scotchbrite to remove any carbon or traces of the stock gasket.
