torque

    does anyone know the torque specs for the lock nut on the clutch basket
    and the starter clutch thank you. its a 1985 vf700f sorry.

    Based on the 2002-2007 VFR800 service manual:
    Clutch Center Lock Nut = 127 N m (94 lb ft)
    Clutch Springs = 12 N m (9 lb ft)

    I did not see anything regarding starter clutch, but did see that that the CKP sensor rotor torque value was 103 N m (76 lb ft). The CKP (Crankshaft Position) rotor looks like it goes on after the starter clutch assembly.

    i looked for the manual on the site but they dont have one for 85 vf700f interceptor.
