    Buy it for $500 and sell the exhaust for $600, part the rest since it has a bad second gear. I want an '84 too but looking for something in better condition.

    Thanks that what I thought. My 84 vf750 is almost done as is my kz900 ltd, so i'll finnish them and look for a new toy.
