I've done extensive research on the suject and have found no link between the two. After working on this bike all weekend, I am afraid I have more questions than answers.
I turned the arrows on the tires to face the opposite direction, now the gear shift is reversed-meaning up/down, down/up like on a race bike.
I have added the perpetual motion mod that we discussed earlier in the thread, the one with the propane bottles on a wheel and the tub of water. This has caused my speedometer to be slower than the bike-another opposite from stock.
I have all of this on power point now for those of you playing along at home.
I added the slick 50 to the seat, as suggested by emptyskull. That dang bike took off so fast and would not quit. I have not seen it since yesterday morning.

 

This thread really should have a "Warning" label of some kind for those of us who tend to hallucinate with little provocation.
