I took my 83 750 carbs apart today cleaned them and reinstalled. My throttle used to snap shut properly before i cleaned the carbs now the throttle sticks and very slowly closes. I know the cables must be out of adjustment that connected to the carbs but how on earth do you adjust them properly?

    Thanks!
    Tom

did you sync the carbs correctly? check that. check the tension of the springs at the carbs without the cable attached. will tell you where the problem is...cable versus carbs

Im not sure what the sync has to do with the throttle blades closing and the throttle grip rolling back. The spring on the carbs is strong and snaps shut quickly. With the cables attached its slow and sticks (after i took it all apart) Before i took it apart the throttle grip rolled back fast/snapped back.
