hi all - anyone know of a source to buy some of those threaded grommets for attaching the fairing? One of the rear fairing ones (near the front of the seat) popped into the frame and there's no chance of fishing it out.
    thanks in advance

    Awesome! Thanks.

I'm trying to also find a replacement cable that attaches to the kickstand and feeds up behind the stator area. Mine was pretty frayed. I'm guessing it's for the kickstand kill switch? Not seeing it on Ron Ayers yet...i'll keep looking

I bought an aftermarket set of fairing grommets and bolts at a local dealership, I bought two sets ($7.99 each) for the left and right fairings on my Y2k.
Reason I bought them was because my stupid painter threw them away. Its been half a year and they are still in place. The kit comes with the grommets,
bolts, washers and other miscellaneous parts. and you can choose to use your oem bolts if you wish (i did). Just go into a motorcycle accessory shop and
they should have them just take your oem bolts to verify the fit. The grommets don't fit like oem, they fit a little loose, so I wrapped them in electrical tape
so that the fit in a snug manner. And it is a little cheaper.
