Wife and I managed to put on 100 miles thru a few canyons today. Everyone can oh and awe at our spectacular gear. Yep, those are ski pants and ski jackets along with MX helmets  The ski clothes are about being warm, the MX helmets are all about fashion.

Here's the wife seeing how it would feel to drive herself. Maybe someday she can inherit the mini-ceptor

That's a fact. There was a lot of sand and some icy spots in the canyon. The canyon blocks the low winter sun from hitting the roadway. Not all that bad but deffinately had to be cautious.

why, what do you see?? Do they not show up very large with the resolution you're running? Seems somehow I eaither end up with monsturous sized pictures or ones that are just a bit larger than thumbnails.

I usually pull my pix off photobucket to attache here. Works well but cumbersome and time consuming to use.

As far as the sand and salt goes, it rains so fucking much here that it takes no time before all that is washed away. So I give it no thought. But where you are, yup. That will do some damage.
