hey guys, i recently purchased my 99 VFR, and it looks pretty harsh (horrible spray paint job, dents in places) but i picked it up for 1k so im not complaining. i was thinking of making a street fighter out of it so i don't look so horrible on base (i love the thing but alot of people dont). I have always been wanting to do this to a bike, so im thinking why not? my question is, besides getting a headlight and speedo and seat, what all needs to be done to make it look good and run efficient? im looking for price over style, but i dont want it to look bad either. just some basic pointers and helpful hints would really be appreciated. i have just never taken a bike apart before personally. Doing the street fighter thing isn't as easy or cheap as it looks. I reckon you've got the perfect bike for getting some rattle cans and doing your favourite colour scheme. If you really want to street fighe it Google images and it should find a few builds on here which will give you an idea. Good luck

Numero Uno? Download the factory service manual for your bike. Numero dos? Don't worry about what the other dudes think of your bike, they probably ride Harleys or each other. Don't ask..;)
