I've given up hope in getting a wave from a Harley rider or really any cruiser for that matter. I'm just happy to get by without getting the finger. Apparently they don't like seeing people that actually wear helmets and other gear.

Why hate on scooters, I rode a honda reflex (250cc) for about 2 years, rode from NM and TX, sport bikes could not pass me while carving. so please don't hate on Scooters. If your going to say "but I feel two wheels is two wheels" then your just the same as some harly riders.

check out my photos for view of 250 scooter do it just fine.

I agree, hell its one of my favorite things to wave at a scooter. Most of the time a hugh smile appears on their face as you blast by one another, probably beciase no one waves at them.

When I lived in Maryland all the bicyclists from the city used to come out and ride the backroads and I used to wave at them.

All people on two wheels appreciate it!

 I alway's thought of scooters as training wheels for Squids :sorry:

& for sport bikes couldn't keep up with you while carving Must of been a dirt road or you had some serious bad lines for them to not be able to pass.
Because if they were good, on a good road, your lucky you didn't get stuffed:caked:

    Taz:

Are you serious? Scooters are training wheels for sqiuds?

In Delaware the squids forgo the scooter and go straight to the Gixxer 750. The few scooter owners I know (and few they are) seem to take being on two wheels more seriously than most motorcyclists in Delaware.

Nothing like witnessing the fully geared up scooter rider pull up beside the No Gear Harley owner or Squid. Pretty funny actually.
