I just switched jobs and a friend has the director position here. I live in Lompoc during the week and drive home on weekends. There is a director of critical care position in San Luis Obispo. I was offered a chance to interview for the job, but declined opting to migrate into informatics. I also got offered a position at corporate but had already accepted the IS job down here and it's not in to go back on my word just to get more money.
I may be looking for new work by next fall. Somehow I don't see this retirement thing working out too well for me. Got this one bookmarked for sure. Thanks Drewl.
