    Survey Says > NOT

    Watch the video bellow.

These are from so Cal's world famous Mulholland drive near the legendary Rock Store, You can just sit up on "the snake" and watch low sides and tank slappers each weekend as a spectator sport.

Vodieo #1 : All that money on a fancy sport bike and he cant afford a pair of real boots, or does he think he is "cool" doing a Valentino Rossi in sketchers , lol.

This was just a baby low side, and I know he has a very sore tootie from using his foot as an asphalt brake, lol, any faster and his foot would literally be shaved off to the bone

YouTube - R6 Crash into guardrail w added Stills from different angle.

The 2nd video is classic panic with target fixation and fear braking with the rear brake of all things.

Mr "guard rail" is the leader of the pack, why I don't know, he needs to be in the back following at his own pace instead of trying to set it and feel pushed, and then his buddies all stand around instead of getting one of them to run back and slow or stop traffic, a classic clown fest

Here is Tommy T-shirt and his massive rash arm, another classic bozo on the throttle low side.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j-tdrf8nrQQ

In this one can you say Black & White fever, lol.

The 2nd video is 1000% proof why you DO NOT, I say again, DO NOT use the freaking rear brake in a turn. You can clearly see the rear tire sliding out. Had the rider simply looked thru the turn & gave it more throttle, this would not have happened. He wasn't going that fast. Simple as can be, this was rider error.

This is a laundry list of what I observed:
    1) DID NOT use proper lane positioning. He started the turn on the inside effectively decreasing the radius of the turn.
    2) DID NOT look thru the turn. It's one of the most fundamental things you need to do, look where you intend to go.
    3) Rear brakes in the turn. Disaster waiting to & did happen.
    4) DID NOT roll on the throttle in the turn.
    5) DID NOT utilize any body positioning.

Don't let this stuff happen to you.

    KC-10 FE out...

According to the video info, the Triumph rider went home with no injuries. I wonder if his ribs started hurting afterthe adrenaline wore off?

I think B&W Fever guy just freaked out when he saw the patrol car and sat up - maybe he grabbed some front brake?

By the looks of that post behind the rail where the guy hit in the second vid, it is clear he is not the first to do that. Man he must have been carrying a whole pile of hurt later that day or the next. Surprised he didn't fracture his hip.

And the Black and White is just plain too funny All the indications of the "oh fuck" factor here

"the Snake "on Mulholland blvd CA

That set of two corners is famous in southern California since the 50's hot rod eara.

You can pull over and park like camera & video a people do and watch that guard rail get tagged on any Sunday.

That guard rail and some others up in the hills on Mulholland ge'st replaced often due to race cars blasting them out of shape, so when you see a dented up guard rail on that road it is more than likely recent damage.

Oh MYYYY!!!! Your a freaking genious if your the one doing these videos. Based on all the super motorcycle prowess you guys got in Kalifornia, maybe the state should step in and do some tiered licensing like they do across the pond. I am against government intervention and being told how and what to do and guess you can total yourself on a 125 just as easy. Seriously tho, super cool vids. The first squid what can I say, the video ended with the freaking tennis shoe coming off, how funny was that. Invest in some freaking boots can yah? Second guy you could hear the gear changes as he just pulled the clutch in and not even really letting it out, he had a crappy line thru the turn and stood the bike up. If he looked thru the turn he wouldnt of crashed into that hungry gaurd rail. The greenie zx rider just kinda freaked in the turn and grabbed front brake and the poor idiot with the t shirt, why the hell would you not have full leathers with a back protector and all the track stuff if your gona ride like that. He coulda hung off and dragged a knee and he wouldnta high-sided also a little judicious throttle control mighta helped too. Not a fan of linked (lame brain) brakes or ABS. Never used rear brake on the track and use it sparingly on the street. Anyway enough dribble, ride like they are out to kill yah. Cheers

I have ridden Mulholland Drive, although it was over 20 years ago. Even then, it was the most squid-infested piece of road I've encountered.

B&W fever video showed the rider had good form but lost concentration in mid corner when he saw the patrol car. Should the officer stay there all day long, I'm pretty sure more would crash because they're gonna get distracted by it.

Yep the Green rider had good form and the gear changes sounded good too. I would hope that nice Chip owficer moved his patrol car as to not distract another rider on that turn. Cheers and keep the shiny side up.

That shoe did exactly what I was told a shoe would do. 1. Pop off in the 1st second of a crash .. 2. provided zero protection.
