I need fuses for my starter relay.
They look like a small flat strip of aluminum.
They are like VW Vanagon starter relay fuses, but smaller.
Are there any alternatives from dealing with HONDA.

The HONDA store in the town near me never has anything.
They do not even have the glass cylinrical fuses - and they ARE the dealer.

If you go to bikebandit.com you will find what you are looking for.I looked it up for you for a 1984 vf1000 and its under the body and fenders then side cover@ battery, you will then see the schematic you are looking for. its a 30a fuse and the item number is 255315-001 at .89 cents. I hope this helps.

THANKS! The dealer wanted more than $2.00 each.
I did not get the golden parachute retirement plan.
Actually I got NO retirement plan. So I hope that is a lesson to others.
Get a Gov., State ,City or county job and make sure you get some benefits, or you will not be doing ANY hobbies at all.
Just eating and looking out the window waiting for the end.

Well, for a couple dollars I replaced those old flat fuses and wired in a new fuse holder from RadioShack, easier to find replacement fuses in the future.

(BTW, I got a county education job now. Contract. No bennies, no vacation, no sick time, no unemployment, etc. Seems like they're all going that way these days...)

A lot of Auto parts stores will have nice fuse holders also. Just a couple of bucks. Easy to wire in.

About the county job. And then what happens and you get too old to work?
These leaders better start thinking ahead, or there will be a revolution and it WILL get ugly.
People like Bernie Madeoff will not get prosecuted, NO... they will get beat to death in the street.
Remember the Enron scandal when they found the solid gold shower curtains in the house.

I think you can swap it out for a later model relay and change to standard fuse, pretty sure I have a few sittting around that you can have if you want to go that way.

I saw a photo and the curtains and they were woven and encased in plastic. Govt. agents only discovered them when they looked in the shower and noticed how heavy the curtains were. Cash was hidden in the freezer too.

Some school teachers that were ready to retire in northern California were told they would not get benefits that were promised to them after retiring, and have had to go to court to get their benefits restored. 60 teachers have won a similar case and now there is another one starting.

Gov Swartzenaggger told California that if the FEDS do not give him 20 billion dollars that he will take away home health care workers for the elderly and disabled. (I believe that is called blackmail) Can you imagine that threatening the elderly and disabled, and the home health care workers like a bully.
The terminator is about to be terminated. Judgement day soon.

When I'm too old to work? They'll never employee me that long under contract. I'll be lucky to go another 6 months! lol

BTW, Bernie plead guilty, sparing a trial, and is serving basically a life sentence, which he deserved.

The Governor has said the feds owe CA $8B because for every $1 we pay to the fed CA only gets $.78 back. We're subsidizing all those other states.

It would be nice to have that beer with the Nor Cal posse!

Slow down there capn, many states pay more than they get back not just CA. The "Haves" always kick in more than the "Have Nots".

in canada we are taxed to crap but at least we have reasonable health care...I never understood why a country as rich and as great as the US did not have government health care....it actually benefits everyone and the whole country as well, as a whole...i saw an interview with nixon on youtube that stated that government funded health care was a form of communism...he was actually afraid of that!!!

JFK was the best and greatest president that ever lived...he was working on health care, relations with the Russians, space program, etc, etc...his only drawback was his philandering...oh well...no one's perfect.

It wasn't a unique drawback to JFK. lol

The ins. company I just dumped paid their CEO $100M a couple years ago, (2005 - UHC), you'll never get that kind of payout with the socialist health care that just ends up providing affordable health care to all!

edit: He was forced out in '06 and given about $1B as a golden parachute payout. Glad my premiums for all those years could help you out buddy!
