Has anyone ever swapped out the tail section on a 5th gen for a 6th gen tail section? I was thinking about trying it, do you have to trade out the whole sub frame? Inquiring minds would like to know.
There is one from FOMOTO? that he did on a 4th gen subframe, tail and pipes. I have not seen one on a 5th gen yet but you will need the subframe if you plan on using the pipes too. Id figure about $350.00-500.00 in parts plus fabricating the subframe to fit your frame should have a good welder and fabrication skills.
