Hello, new member and new VFR owner.
I bought an RC79 this weekend, my first VFR. Just under 20000km, nice condition except for bad brakes. Warped disc makes the whole front shake when braking at speed. Quite annoying. Besides that, love the bike.

    Cheers!

Welcome aboard. If you have access to one, put a dial indicator gauge on the fork leg and measure the disc run-out to figure whether one or both discs is bent. Modern discs are easy to bend, not the steel disc but the alloy carrier that suspends it. If you have the budget, replace the damaged disc. If you don't but are prepared for some DIY, it is possible to gently lever on the carrier (not the disc!) with a pry bar to get this back into alignment.
