Is it a straight fit, swaping the square gauges with round ones from a vfr?
The square ones must be the ugliest ever made, looks like something that would
look better on a Gold wing in my opinion.

I believe from posts i read here that there could be a problem getting the tach to work. I prefer the round ones but think the squarish ones aren't too bad.

Different mount, different harness, if you have an 87 it is a different head and you need the speed sensor and cam. Ugly and not simple.

Ok,thanks! I have a 86, the mount wouldn't be a problem, is the fusebox harness different too? Much to be modified
With the harness? Anybody done this swap?

    Round gauges

    Hi Stryker

My 86 has round gauges. I bought the bike with them. The conversion was done in Japan as mine a grey import here in South Africa. Send me you email address and I can take a bunch of photos for you.
