Stock vf86 500 mods?

I am looking for any good suggestions for my VF 500 It is completly stock and I wanna beef it up/restore it... any suggestions

 

not really familiar with the bike, but i would start at the suspension, talk to jaime daugherty for rear suspenion options, maybe gold vavle emulators for better steering....not sure if F2/F3 front/rear end conversion is an option for you. just to start and search this forum for ideas about customizing...maybe a streetfighter...

 

You might keep your eye out for a pair of slip-ons for the exhaust. They come up every now and then on eBay.

 

Don't forget that slip-ons cause a loss of power!
