    Hello folks,

I'm a new guy here... I recently purchased a 99 VFR, and I had the opportunity to ride it for a just few minutes before the electrical system failed! LOL, or before the battery went dead, but at this point I'm just pulling the plastics apart to charge the battery and find out what went south.

Back to the point... can someone post a picture of the OEM RR?
I'm trouble shooting the common RR/Stator issues, and I'd like to know what I'm working with on this unfamiliar to me bike. BTW, I loved riding the darn thing while it lasted... loads of fun. :)

    Thanks!

Ok, so posting a picture of the RR might be helpful in naming that part... Here's what's on there. 99 VFR RR.jpg

I seem to remember that the Blackbird's rectifier was a straight swap. I got mine from David Silver, but that might not be much use to you over there.

I went with a Mosfet style with OEM connectors when I replaced mine. Got it at RMstator. no issues up to this point.

Only one thing. . . . Do the drill and make damn sure that the battery is good and healthy. A volt meter alone can not judge a battery nor can a 10 sec test at a mech/parts shop.
