Well i've been having some charging issue's with my 98 VFR. I ordered both the rectifier and the stator from electrosport. I also got a brand new battery. The rectifier went on no problem. The stator, i was not so lucky.The stator i got from electrosport is not as thick as the one that was in the bike.With the stator in the mounting position, the bolts are too long. The stator did'nt come with any bolts or any kind of spacer. I double checked the part number that was on the box, with the part number from electrosports site(ESG520) and they are a match. Has anyone had this kind of problem before? If i get shorter bolts, will this stator work like it supposed too?
Guess no one knows I installed the stator anyway, and so far so good. Took it on a ride yesterday, and everything was good. Thanks anyway
