Just typical, 2 weeks to my trip, and the this.
Ok, it started whit me haveing a gearbox problem that seemd to be a small thing in the shift mecanism (I think, not testridden it yet) then att the same time I change clutch plates and cluch cylinder seals as clutch horse. Now new oil in engine and redy to fire it up, just a click from the start relay. Give it more juce from a car battery, still just a click! I check the cabel to startmotor, ok, check the startmotor, ok (runs ok when fed derectly, out of engine thro) Then I find its only coming 4,5 volts to the starter! As I hold in the start buttom for a while then stop and then I hear like the battery start to boil, and it does not stop until I turn of ignission whit the key. Starter relay seems to work ok. What to check next?
I have to say it has before (clutch jobb) been a slight delay when pushing the starter button before it starts to turn the startermotor, but only a second or two.
    Any ides pals?

Problem found. It was not a electic problem. I just was not exact enough when changing the clutchplates! When I removed the clutch cover a washer fell out, and I assumed it came from the gear betwen starter motor and free wheel, and yes it came but it was from under the gear, not top of it. This cosed thet the stater motor could not turn around! So all I can blame is myself. I should have taken time to check the manual, not just assume.
Why thw low voltage? There is a problem whit the start button thro, and you need to push it hard to ger the start motor running. So I´´m looking for a new (good used) starter button.
