Has aney one read the latest issue of sport rider? they test a vfr vs st3 vs moto guzzi vs a sprint the ducati one by a hair even though the abs brake system worked beter turned off  they did not like the dunlop tires my 2006 come with metzlers. and they said the bike ran at 269 deg F my bike never goes over 235 and runs at about 150 on the road
I also changed my front gear to a 15 tooth and added a bouble bubble windsheld though not stock they took care of the other problems they found . so I THINK THE VFR SHOULD HAVE ONE  theres a surprize

I think I read that same article...or a very similar one. It also mentioned that eventhough the VFR weighed slightly more and had 10% less power than the Sprint...the VFR had about 8mph faster/better top end than the Sprint.
