Hello all....I have an '85 VF1000 with a slipping clutch. I replaced the discs about 3000 kms ago and finally found a new spring plate to put in, but it still slips...what else could be wrong????

Did you replace both friction & drive plates and springs? Are you running a wet-clutch safe oil? No teflon additives or friction modifiers as found in energy conserving oils, right?
