I need the metal piece that the rear of our seats lock into. The whole bracket fell out at some point. I found the bracket itself, but the piece that attaches to the release cable is MIA. This is the metal piece with the "u" design that bolts to the cross-bar under the seat. The cable comes in from the side and this assembly locks the seat in place. The dealer wants $25 for this part. Anyone here have one or know where I can obtain one for less than that price? I need it before next Wednesday if possible! Thanks!
I found one on Bike Bandit but after shipping it would be the same price. With luck someone will come along that did a tail conversion and has their old parts. Otherwise your best bet is going to be the dealer. There's some on eBay but they're going to be more expensive than the dealer. -Jake
