saw a guy crash

I saw footage of a guy crashing. He wasent going real fast but he was going into a turn. His back wheel started flailing. Then he went down. I suspect he was slowing going into the curve, which isent good without that specific skill as far as i understand.

Did he crash because he braked going into a curve improperly?

 

Might even have been gravel, doesn't take much to ruin your day!

 

PSH, i can say that. I fell just commin off of a red light.

I think there was a UFO. Explains why he got distracted and wiped out.

 

I think I saw a picture of Drewl naked! Now I'm temporarily blind and can't ride. That's temporary, but the psychological damage is devastating and will be long lasting. Now, back to the topic.

Back on topic, he obviously did not take in consideration the inner vs outer vortex of braking as it directly relates to wheel speed and what is known as "the bunny hop" which rarely is consistant with the ambiant outside air tempature...

I hear colored rubber tires can cause sliding. Were his tires colored?

 

He could have still been running summer air in his tires. Ya gotta run winter air in the winter time.

Were they Italian tyres? I have heard comments about greasy Italians.

 

Gotta remember you cannot use metric tires in an imperial country and visa versa regardless of summer or winter air.

 

Maybe that is what caused the crash.
