    Hello,
Been an admirer of the VFR for quite some time, and a lurker here on the forums for a while. I've been drooling over a RWB Interceptor at a local dealer ship recently. Today I had my 1998 Superhawk on the dyno at said dealership, afterward I took a demo ride on the Interceptor. Normally they don't demo the bike, but he knew I had been looking very closely at it. A very refined bike, it handles like a dream. I can tell it's begging for after market exhaust. I have been approved for a loan. Payments would only be 140.00 a month. Someone talk some sense into me, I love my Hawk, and intend to keep it; do I really need a second bike. I know you forum members will give me responsible advise. Highest regards.

Hey man, I've got 2 bikes now and have had 5 at once. Go for it, you know you want it. The VFR actually has some good range between fill-up so you can take longer trips. I know the SH is only good for about 110miles

I've currently got 3 bikes. One is not enough. If you want the RWB, then this is your only chance for a new one. The 25th year anniversary edition only comes around once.

Well said stewartj239. This is just one of the reasons to get it, there won't be another one like it. Get it and keep the Hawk if it fits the budget.... I had a CBR but it didn't make sense for me to keep them both. The VFR does it all.

man, that's a tough call. I really like the SH and that's what I was looking for when I got the VFR. After getting the VFR, I haven't looked at a SH. The VFR is a great bike. Quite possibly hitting the balnace between sport and tour bettter than any bike before it. At least to me (and a few others around here!) I can't tell you what I'd do as I think the SH is a great bike also, but the VFR is a very well refined bike.

I'm coming off a SuperHawk myself (35,000 trouble-free miles on an '00). I've had my slightly used '04 VFR for a couple of weeks now and put 700 miles on it, and I'm very happy. It's a terrific all-around machine. My situation only permits me to have one bike right now. I do miss the SH, the grunt of the motor was a lot of fun on tight back roads. But the VFR's handling is confidence-inspiring. The larger fuel capacity is a plus too. It seems it's a lot easier on rear tires also (was getting maybe 3000 miles out of the rear on the SH).
Go for it! You won't regret it.
