Anybody here ever installed one of these... Sound Off Recreational, Inc. - Safety Lighting Products or similar. Any opinions ?
There are many LED product that can improve the visibility of your bike at reasonable price and last.
My Goldwing came with one but one of the lights would not function at all. I have no idea how long it had been on there. I bought another one and after about 2 years, it had the same problem. But, I had a short in the system so I can't say for sure how the quality is. I really liked what it did for my wing. I do not have any of the accessory lights on it (like you see on a lot of wings) so adding the turn signals as tail/brake lights was a nice addition. I thought about putting one on my VFR and changing the rear signals to red bulbs but I have higher priorities for my accessory money right now. Edit for clarity-The short in the system was elsewhere in the rear blinkers, not in the unit.
