Okay, so the custom brackets that came with my '06 won't work. They go through the passenger pegs but the other side doesn't match up with any fasteners. I think they use to bolt to a different exhaust.

I can weld and fabricate but I don't want to reinvent the wheel. Has anyone made custom brackets? Or is there one of those "universal" kits that work well?

    Thanks

Can you fab up an L or I bracket with holes or slot on both end to extended to where you need?

Here's a pic of the bars:

Someone's already done the work of fitting them to the passenger peg. I can use that and extend it to where I need it.

I'm looking at two possible rear attachment points:

Get a longer rear bolt for the grab handle and fastening it there or.... there's a ear for the muffler with an allen bolt just under the rear cowl?

Anyone have pics on how they've done it.?
