That is double what he could get I would imagine. Capt, did you send your pipe to the east? It is nice, but once you repaint you lose. Anything past 4k mileage, you lose. I too hope he can get that, but...

Agree! I mean it's beautiful but for all the reasons you point out Rogue he will be holding on to that VFR for a while. Cap , we will all pitch in for shipping.

Give me a fucking break. All that trouble and those lame ass fucking goofy turn signals?

I'm gonna have to see what kind of resolution I can get down loading the pics. Crankcase covers look nice, but appear to be far from original.

    Captain 80s is getting upset!

Dream the fuck on... Unless you cross over the boundary of reality into BaT.

It would be nice if they were selling for that, since I have one. Lol

The question here isn't if this is a nice bike. The question is, is this a 10k+ restoration.

It certainly is not. Corrosion on chassis hardware and suspension linkage. Gages are pretty drab, apparently the seller doesn't wash anything or own a swiffer.

Crankcase covers (and valve?) are pretty, but incorrect. Granted that finish is really fucking hard to reproduce. Muffler(s) have internal corrosion expansions rings visible (common).

    Nice bike. Delusional seller.

There has been a monumental over pay on BaT recently, so the market is officially bizarre and unpredictable.

But this is not a 10k bike on this side of the event horizon.
