I've tried to sell my 94 at least three times over the years (I actually put a 'For Sale' sign on it once) then I'd go out and start it and change my mind.

The one time I had a For Sale sign on it, I rode it to work and home. When I got back, my wife took one look at my face and told me I was to never even THINK about selling it again.

It's funny the attachment I have to this bike. I have $10k's of carpentry and machine tools in the garage with my vfr, but if someone broke in and stole it all, the only thing I would be upset about is the loss of the vfr.

    Sorry for the hijack.

My bike ownership is a work in progress. Among my peers, most have 5 or 6 bikes and they're always fluctuating. I think 6 is the upper limit for many of us because you can fit 6 bikes on one side of a double garage.

I need to get a couple of basket cases out of my mother's garage, and I have given away a lot of BMW and Honda parts trying to increase space.

I really love this VFR, but like life, possessions are fleeting. That said, I hope that it does'nt sell soon!

I rode Brian's 4g the other day and there were some things I really liked about it. I could stand to have every gen of the VFR probably but that would be kind of overkill I suppose. I'm glad to see that this thread has at least moved back towards motorcycles.
