removing baffles?

    Hi kids
    I have a 84 Interceptor, and since slip-on mufflers are pretty hard to find, can I drill thru the pop rivets and pull the baffles out of the factory pipes.
    I just want the bike somewhat louder.

    Also, can you re- pop rivet them back on if you change your mind.

    I don't really know if that would work, since I haven't tried it, but I'd suggest first going on ebay and getting an extra set of stock pipes in case you mess yours up!!!
