Can anyone tell me if i can remove the rear pipes of a VFR FJ 1988 without removing the engine?
One guy tells me it can be done, and another says the engine has to come out.
i have managed to get all the nuts slack.
    Thanks, Geoff

You have the collectors/cans off, and just have the two header pipes that you're trying to remove from teh rear?

    exhaust pipes removed

Hi worked on today and got the nuts freed off and managed to get the pipes off without to much difficulty. I did not realise that the flange was free flowing and could be moved on the pipe thanks
