Well now that I am finally out of school for good and have a little free time I have finally started on the VFR rebuild.
I think she will actually live again so far I have removed most of the body work that is damaged and I have bought most of the stuff to repair it. Also I have acquired a new radiator to replace my busted one I hope it does not leak. Other than that I am working on straightening out the body work mounts and getting her ready to ride. Also the big thing is I finally got the front end straightened out but I think my right hand clip on is a little bent so I will be looking for a replacement. Oh well feels good to finally be working on a bike again and the good news is I no longer feel sick every time I look at it. So wish me luck I will work hard to get another V4 back on the road.

Here are the pics of condition after the accident.

Looks like a beauty of a bike still, great candidate for a redo, lots of potential.
Very rewarding doing the work yourself, take your time. Is that a fully loaded repair shop at your disposal?

I wish I had access to the shop unfortunately it is not mine that is the place the bike was towed to after my accident. I really just want to get it back to the condition it use to be before the crap the happened last October.

Update I got the brand new front cowl on and the front cowl mount straightened out as well as the old windshield mounted again. Also I just got a few new parts ready to go on all I need is a new sticker for one of the side cowls. BTW the right hand cowl is brand new only problem is it is for a 700 so it does not say 750 on the side like the new decal I ordered :(. [IMG]

Oh well no big deal for now I think it will be ok with a different sticker on each side until I feel like dropping another 50 bucks on a proper side sticker. Other than that I got a used radiator that will hopefully not leak and brand new inners from Cobalt Racing they are awesome.

Finally if anyone has the part circled below and the right hand clip on in good shape. I need the right hand clip on or the foot peg and wants to make me a deal please let me know
