Rear Turn Indicators

    Is the rumour true? Can you swap the built in amber rear turning lens from the 4th generation bikes with the red ones from the 3rd generation. I'm trying to eliminate those "Ugly" bolt on factory amber lenses from my '92' with amber lenses built into the bodywork where they should have been placed.

    Yep, its true. But they aren't inexpensive. There is no diference in them between 3rd and 4th gen other than 3rd gen is red and 4th gen is amber. The lenses have the socket built into it, it is plug and play, just remove your rear turn stalke and reroute the wiring and put the connector into the socket and Ta Da, all done. I did mine and it was not difficult at all. And just in case you were not aware, the red lenses are DOT legal. If turn lenses had to be yellow would not all cars have them that way? Seems logical........
