The 5th Gen VFR that I picked up on the weekend came with the seat cowl but it is secured by hex bolts, not even alan key bolts. So I need to source some pins and so far have only found the Sargent seat ones and some on eBay that appear to be like the original - use a coin to remove. Are there any other options? Also I've managed to source a pair of grab handles. Has anyone modified the cowl to have the grab handles and cowl on together? It would make it much easier to have the handles when moving the bike in te garage and placing on centre stand.
The bolt thread is M6 so any M6x20 Alloy allen head bolt will do. If you have the cowl fitted then you won't be needing the franken bolts to strap down anything on your back seat. So this makes it look smarter & smoother.
