rear brake light problem

hey all.

got a minor issue with my 4th gen VFR. if i press the front brakes the lights work fine if i press the rear the brake lights are not comming on.

i had a feel around where the spring is and i can feel something sticking out. the brakes work fine but just the rear brake light does not work.

I am planning to take off the footpeg and have a look but dont have the right trools to hand.

Does anyone know how hard of a fix this is and whats the problem and what i may need and what alan key size it is for it ?

There is a ring on the rear switch you can turn to adjust when it comes on.

 

ah yea did not work when i first moved it but after turning it a lot more bingo . kinda nearly at its max now tho. but will get it thu a MOT
