Is there a rattle can color close to the red on an 86 500 front fender and shocks? Also can you recomend a good plastic repair filler. My front fender has a crack about a 1/3 the way thru the width. Thanks...

Fatso1277 is correct Stavenstumper,ColorRite sells the R134 Fighting Red for your '86 in a rattle can. Part number 2163. They also sell the base coat for that paint as well. Part number 1090. I've used ColorRite paints several times now,and so far the paint match has been excellent. Here's the link to their website- Motorcycle Paint :: Touch Up, Aerosol & Refinish Paint - ColorRite

yes. I saw the colorrite web site. If I were doing a class A resto, I would shell out the $66 for color and base:frown:. I was hoping for a maybe not perfect match but something close. Something I could source from Autozone or Pepboys for $10. Thanks...

I used Krylon Fusion spray paint on mine, its made for plastic and about $4.64/can at Walmart. For red I used the Burgandy color, the lighter red is a bit 'campy' looking, especially when paired with the lighter color of blue they have.
