At 2k, it was not 100% steal, but it could have been a nice project. I get the "needs a top end rebuild" vibes. There should be nothing else on something that small in my mind. Next time.

 

No title is a killer. Unless I wanna run around on a CB-1 plate. But that's a lot of work and money on something I can't prove is mine.

I got it for $1500, really just a good carb clean, all new fluids, new batt., tires and maybe have to clean out the tank? Oh, and it DOES have a title , not that it really matters here that much, but good for resale!

So you've done a compression and leak down test without pictures of at least unloading it?

If I was a dealer with a WA titled 400RR, I'm pretty sure I would have my Service Dept clean the carbs and run it on an aux tank for some very different digits on the sale price.

Damn that’s cool! Good pick up, I am sure it will work out one way or another,. I finally found the correct inner tube for the Duc.. damn, even my local Ducati dealer couldn’t figure it out. 30 mile test ride with perfect conditions. 74* and hazy. Holding air and handles great!
