Since I don't have a manual yet, (purchased one on Ebay but it's not here yet) could someone tell me what the stock distance the forks should extend through the top of the triple tree? This would be for a 1986 VFR700F2. I read about raising them to improve handling and don't know what the previous owner may have already played around with. They currently sit flush against the bottom of the handlebar clamps. Also, for those who may have adjusted them already, does it lower the seat height any measurable amount? I would love to lower it enough for my 5'4" wife to take it for a ride. TIA, Vicegrip2
