Does anyone know of a way to raise the seat height of a 96 VFR.
The person who wants to buy mine is 6 ft 5 in tall.
What can he do to make it more comfortable??

    Thanks

    new subframe.

Extend the lower strut, but might as well build a new subframe.

Also note if you do either mod, you will raise the angle of the rear end, to a higher angle.

(try more/ stiffer seat padding maybe an alternative.

Thurn Motorsport has a set of tail riser triangles listed for the '96 VFR that raise the back of the bike by 25mm at the centerline of the rear axle for taller riders. Here's the link- THURN-MOTORSPORT

    Stoshmonster beat me to it.

Also, depending on how much heavy he is, new fork springs and rear shock spring can make all the difference in setting the sag correctly allowing the bike to handle correctly. Just with a new shock took my bike from wet noodle to riding on rails. I'm 6'4 btw.

You can also tell your potential buyer that sport bikes aren't made for people above or below the average size lol...but that might not help you out with your sale.
